Soundgarden 35 Vinyl Series
To mark the band’s 35th anniversary in 2019, Jason developed a series of DTC-exclusive vinyl reissues for The Sound Of Vinyl at UMG. The campaign launched with a limited-time offer – a bundle of all five albums plus an exclusive signed lithograph. Individual titles were released a la carte once a month and promoted with a full suite of marketing strategies, including animated packshots and a custom microsite. The campaign sold over 7000 units and increased Soundgarden’s fan engagement rate.
Mary J. Blige Merch Boutique
When the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul announced her 2022 album and Super Bowl Halftime performance, Jason launched a custom Shopify store for label 300 Entertainment. The “Good Morning Gorgeous Boutique” sold exclusive merch, tailored to MJB’s superfans. An embroidered bathrobe, terrycloth slippers, and a silk scarf were offered alongside T-shirts and a tracksuit. Jason also developed a line of MJB home goods — an engraved wine glass, silk throw pillow, monogrammed journal, and more.
Waterparks CD Singles
This pop-punk band has a fan base of obsessive collectors. In the lead-up to their 2023 album on Fueled By Ramen, Jason helped them release three singles as limited-edition CD Digipaks. These premium, collectible packages were “personalized” by the band in unique ways: first with autographs, then fingerprints, and finally, bite-marks. Each CD was limited to 2000 copies, and all sold out within days of launch.
